Computed from the signing date and, if given, the enrollment date
- Classify the deal: third-party brand, institutional, associated entity or collective, ambassador (unpaid), agent agreement, financial-product referral.
- Division I, $600 or more, third-party: submit to NIL Go within five business days of signing or agreeing payment terms. Aggregate recurring payments from the same payor.
- Junior-college or high-school transfer: report every qualifying deal within 14 days of Division I enrollment or before the first game.
- California community college: proposed deal disclosed to the college 14 days before committing; changes within 14 days.
- Under eighteen: a parent or guardian signed first; no school marks or facilities; nothing tied to performance or school choice.
- Every paid placement carries the disclosure; ambassadors are marked unpaid.
